Info-Centers is SecureInfo-centers was designed from the ground up to be a secure system, to keep your data safe. The latest and best of technology has been used to ensure the security of your information. For example, the Apache web server is known to be the best for web security and in the widest usage in the internet. Of course, Apache has be our choice for your web-server. Your data is contained in a well-known and robust file system. This file system is known for it's years of use and integrity. |
Finally, the transactions are secured over the web, using 128 bit encryption, the way that on-line banking transactions are secured. This is to ensure that your data traffic cannot be "sniffed" and also to ensure that all data-packets make it intact and error-free.
The security of your data and transactions is one of two major goals for our customers.
Info-centers is not a public web-site. Info-Centers uses technology similar that offered by large financial institutions. Only the introduction page can be seen by internet surfers. Why, because the data pages do not exist, and will not exist until you ask for them. Login and all other pages are generated by a unique web-application originally designed for the high security needs of an international pharmaceutical corporation. Info-Centers use 128-bit encryption for data transfer, and the web pages only exist as long as you leave them on your screen.
Your User-ID and password are not stored on your PC. Info-Centers does not use cookies or and does not store anything on your disks. Your User-ID and Password are encrypted and used only to connect to Info-Centers, thereafter they are never passed between your PC and the Server.
The accounts you create are never made available on the web and remain entirely anonymous except to you and other users you have granted access to. Transactions (messages between you and the Info-centers Servers) use randomly generated server addresses, making it impossible for anyone to tap the information on route.
Your Uploaded files and Images are kept in anonymous directories. They can only be retrieved and associated with an Account or authorized User using Info-Centers algorithms.
Your Data is stored on a secure server which serve Info-Centers only. Your data is stored on RAID 5 data storage systems (Level 5: Provides data striping at the byte level and also stripe error correction information. This results in excellent performance and matching fault tolerance.).
Data is backed up and stored daily for data safety and Info-Centers has multiple servers in diverse locations to ensure optimum up time. Optionally, if you want even more security, zip and password sensitive materials before you upload them to the Info-Centers Server.
Info-Centers is regularly tested by professional "hackers" to ensure the security of your data. We pride ourselves in state-of-the-art security.
You assign the password, but Info-Centers will ask each user for a new password every thirty days. Stale passwords are a security risk.
TANs are Temporary Authorization Numbers and are an optional feature of Info-Centers. List of temporary authorization numbers are randomly generated by Info-Centers but are recorded by Account/User and one number is required for each transaction (On Accounts where this feature has been enabled). The list is secure because it is not identified as being for a particular Account/User but can only be used in that combination. The TANs on the list expire after each use. This ensures a maximum number of uses by that Account/User combination. TANs can be ordered in quantities of 1 to 100 for particular Account/Users.
